We will start with a visit to the renewed Sultanahmet Mosque, known popularly as The Blue Mosque an incredibly beautiful mosque known for its blue Iznik (Nicaea) tiles are unique for the fact that it has six minarets. We continue on to the Hippodrome, once the vast arena that functioned as the heart of sporting (chariots races and athletics) events and politicalactivities of the old city. From here we go to the nearby Hagia Sophia, the Church of Divine Wisdom. Ranking as one of the greatest marvels of world architecture, this awe-inspiring building was constucted as a basilica in the 6th century by Byzantine Emperor Justinian. Continue on to the Egyptian Spice Market, an arched complex of shops that have long and traditionally specialized in spices, herbs, vegetables, and fruits. From here we go to the Suleymaniye Mosque. Built by the great Ottoman architect Mimar Sinan on the order of Sultan Suleiman I (Suleiman the Magnificent), the Suleymaniye Mosque dominates the third hill of old Istanbul, and is strikingly graceful and less ornate than many other imperial mosques, thus lending itself to meditation and quiet reflection. The tour will end with the visit to the Grand Bazaar, the vast and legendary covered market that is the biggest souk in the world with nearly 4000 shops of antiques, jewelry, and carpets.
• We will spend our night in the hotel and breakfast there the next morning.

Day 3: Ankara

Istanbul/ Ankara (Breakfast-Dinner)
• Today we spend a half day sightseeing in Istanbul. We start off with a visit to the Underground Cistern, the largest of the many underground cisterns built during the Byzantine Empire to supply the city with water. This cistern is especially fascinating because the Byzantine builders recycled many stone structures—capital heads and columns-- that had been used in earlier temples. Now an upside down Medusa stares out at us from her watery home. We leave here to go to the Topkapi Palace. This visit to the imperial palace of the Ottoman Sultans will include tours of the imperial treasury, the Chinese porcelain section, the calligraphy section and many more. We will also visit the Jewelry Collection segment of the palace. Afternoon, we will board on our vehichle and set off for Ankara.
• Dinner and overnight at our hotel in Ankara.

Day 4: Cappadocia

Ankara / Cappadocia (Brakfast-Lunch-Dinner)
• Our drive through Ankara will take us to the Hittite Museum where we will see artifacts from that very old and unique civilization. After our Lunch, we set off for Cappadocia. Our drive will take us along the very extensive Salt Lake. Once we arrive in Cappadocia we will check-into our hotel, where we will dine and spend the night.

Day 5: Cappadocia

Cappadocia (Brakfast-Lunch-Dinner)
• After breakfast, we begin our explorations of the famous and intriguing valley of Cappadocia, a unique region in which Nature has created an incredibly strange and colorful world of cones, columns and needles that were shaped by the wind and water erosion of the area's volcanic tuff. Some of these strange shapes are as tall as 100 ft. But it is not only the Natural landscape that is unique here. Our forefathers used the soft features of the stone to carve out this fantasy-like environment into homes, stables, shops, churches, hospitals, etc. etc. Many early Christians painted the walls of their chapels with their own renditions of Bible stories. Some of these frescoes are incredibly beautiful, attesting to the skills and religious fervor of the faithful. Among the places we will visit are Goreme Open Air Museum, Castle of Uchisar, Underground City of Kaymakli, Pasabag and Avanos.Shopping time for the well-known merits of the area before returning to the hotel.
• We will enjoy our dinner and overnight stay in our hotel in Cappadocia.

Day 6: Pamukkale

Cappadocia / Konya / Pamukkale (Brakfast-Lunch-Dinner)
• After an early breakfast we set off for Pamukkale. On the way, we will visit the 13th century Sultanhan Caravanserai, a building that ranks as one of the Seljuk masterpiece. From here we will continue on to Konya where we will visit the Mevlana Museum, a museum and monastery complex that is dedicated to the life and teachings of the Rumi, the 13th century founder of the Whirling Dervish mystical order. After lunch we will continue onto Pamukkale.
• We will dine and spend the night at our hotel in Pamukkale.
